This is my new system for storing stencils. I had them on nails before.

Here is a close up that shows the S hooks and the bent paper clips. Works great!
This is an older picture, but it has a couple of quilts not shown elsewhere (you must look hard). You can see how narrow my quilting space is! This is my wonderful Nolting 24. No bells or whistles, just the basics. She is named Victoria because she is such a classy lady even though at times she can be a bit contrary.
This is pretty much how my studio looks today. Under the longarm machine you can see a piece of pressed wood shelving covered with flannel that serves as an ironing board. After my Rowenta iron was fatally injured by being knocked off the ironing board, this seemed to be a safer option! Another board just like it will accommodate those large quilt tops and backs that need to be pressed a bit before quilting. If you look at the take-up roller you will see the foam insulation tubing set up for my system of free-hand Stitch-in-the-Ditch.
